"Achieve Your Dreams": World Arthritis Day 2025

Every year on October 12th, World Arthritis Day raises global awareness about the impact of rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases, including Rheumatoid Arthritis and Psoriatic Arthritis, two of the conditions addressed by the DocTIS project. Supported by the European Alliance of Associations for Rheumatology (EULAR) and many other organizations, World Arthritis Day highlights the challenges faced by millions of people living with these diseases and stresses the importance of advancing research, education, and access to care.

According to EULAR, rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases affect more than 120 million people in Europe alone. These conditions often cause pain, disability, and reduced mobility, profoundly affecting daily life and well-being. World Arthritis Day strengthens global efforts to promote medical education, improve access to trustworthy information, and promote scientific research. The DocTIS research project contributes to this mission by developing innovative therapeutic strategies for six immune-mediated inflammatory diseases, including Rheumatoid Arthritis and Psoriatic Arthritis.

EULAR’s 2025 Campaign: Achieve Your Dreams

The theme for 2025 is “Achieve Your Dreams”, celebrated under the hashtag #RMDreams. The campaign unites patient organizations, healthcare professionals, and scientific societies in a collective effort to improve the lives of people living with rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases. The focus is on ensuring that individuals can aspire to and pursue their personal goals while managing their health.
