An article in EU Research magazine, titled “Revolutionizing Treatment for Immune-Mediated Inflammatory Diseases”, highlights the techniques, results, trials, and potential impacts of DocTIS. The project aims to discover effective therapeutic strategies for immune-mediated inflammatory diseases (IMIDs) through drug combinations. The article was written in collaboration with Dr. Sara Marsal from the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR) and Dr. Toni Julià from IMIDomics.

The article explains the project’s use of advanced data analysis and systems biology to identify the most effective drug combinations, as well as its transition into preclinical validation and clinical trials. It emphasizes the potential for DocTIS to not only improve patient outcomes but also to influence healthcare policies and practices by offering a more personalized and cost-effective approach to treating IMIDs.

The article was published in the summer issue of EU Research, a prominent non-peer-reviewed research journal in Europe that covers a broad spectrum of scientific fields and projects. According to the publisher, each issue typically receives over 300,000 reads within the first three months of publication.
